The spacious Batavia bamboo basket serves two purposes. On the one hand, it offers storage for all sorts of items, and on the other, it functions as a small, stylish side table in two different sizes, looking particularly good as a set. The bamboo used is relatively thick and therefore extremely sturdy.

Material: Bamboo

Our baskets are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.

Bamboo is an extremely fast-growing raw material that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing plant, thus avoiding unnecessarily long transport routes.

This basket was handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we work exclusively with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
