Dayana is a decorative vase made of water hyacinth woven into a sturdy metal frame. The striped combination of natural and black-dyed water hyacinth fibers makes the vase an eye-catching piece, and its tall, slender design enhances corners and niches.

The woven vase is particularly suitable as a home accessory in boho style for dried flowers, but can also be used for cut flowers if you use a waterproof container as an inner container.

Dayana is also available in natural color.

Main material: Water hyacinth

Our vases are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.

The water hyacinth is a tropical aquatic plant that grows in rivers and lakes. Originally from South America, it has also been introduced to Southeast Asia. There, it is considered a weed because it multiplies incredibly quickly and can cover entire bodies of water with a carpet of leaves. The resulting lack of light and oxygen leads to the death of all aquatic life, which is why the plants must be removed regularly. To prepare the plants for further processing, the leaves are cut off and the thick stems are dried in the sun for three to seven days.
