Our Rahayu pillowcase is handwoven by experienced weavers on traditional looms from the finest natural cotton. The natural color of the material is preserved and further enhanced by the subtle striped pattern.

With its minimalist yet appealing design, the cushion blends seamlessly into your interior style, creating a soft and modern atmosphere. Rahayu also combines beautifully with other patterned cushion covers, such as our Seraja and Flores cushion covers, to add an extra touch of elegance to your living space.

The pillowcase is available in two sizes, 40x40 cm and 50x50 cm, and features a convenient hotel-style closure on the back for easy insertion and removal of the pillow. To maintain the quality of the pillowcase, we recommend gentle hand washing in cold water. Bleaching and direct drying in the sun should also be avoided.

Material: Cotton

Our pillowcases are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.

For our products, we use cotton from local farmers in Java. The cotton fields are naturally fertilized, and the cotton bolls are picked by hand. The cotton is then separated from the boll in a ginning machine. The harvested cotton is pressed into bales, combed, and spun into yarn by hand. Once spun, the yarn is hand-woven by artisans on traditional wooden looms. Cotton is known for its absorbency and skin-friendliness. Our cotton is not chemically treated and is therefore not suitable for tumble drying. The products should be ironed at low temperatures.

This pillowcase is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we work exclusively with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
