The modern boho style relies on traditionally crafted furnishings made from natural materials. Our playful Danau wall mirror perfectly embodies this, meticulously crafted from rattan by talented artisans in Indonesia, allowing you to create the perfect boho look in your home.
The use of natural materials gives it a timeless beauty that blends seamlessly into other interior design styles, while the suggested floral shape is a charming eye-catcher. However, Danau is not only a decorative element that adds character to your room, but also a practical tool for checking your appearance before going out.
With its smaller diameter of just 38 cm, Danau differs from our other round, but larger, rattan mirrors and easily fits into small corners and niches. The clever eyelet on the back makes wall mounting easy – just one nail is all it takes to attach this mirror to the desired spot.

Main material: Rattan
Our mirrors are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.
Rattan palms tend to grow in large quantities in dense forests, where they are considered invasive plants because they compete for space with other plants and deplete the soil of nutrients. The fast-growing stems, which grow without chemical additives, must be regularly cut and, after drying, can be used as a material for furniture and baskets. This makes rattan an extremely sustainable material that is readily available.

Factory:
This mirror is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we work exclusively with adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
