Material: Marble
Our marble products come from a region in East Java renowned for its marble craftsmanship. It has long been a tradition for the younger generation to learn the art of marble processing from the older generation. Only licensed companies are permitted to quarry marble in this area to maintain the integrity of the ecosystem. Marble products are manufactured in three steps: The marble is first quarried, then chiseled into the desired shape, and finally polished. The main processing is traditionally done by hand, but some work is also carried out using specialized machinery.

Factory:
These coasters are handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. The companies from which we source our goods employ only adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
