What basket weavers commonly refer to as "seagrass" is actually not an aquatic plant, but a small, palm-like plant that is widespread on sandy beaches in tropical Asia. The leaves of these plants, often cultivated by humans, are cut off, sliced ​​into strips, dried, and then processed by hand.

When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. In the factories where we source our goods, we work exclusively with adult and experienced artisans.
