For our exceptional Dari lidded basket, strips of bamboo in various colors are meticulously handwoven into the striking zigzag pattern in a complex process. This makes the basket an instant eye-catcher – yet thanks to its simple, light colors, it blends seamlessly into any living space.

Our baskets are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.

Bamboo is an extremely fast-growing raw material that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing plant, thus avoiding unnecessarily long transport routes.

This basket is handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. The companies from which we source our goods employ only adult and experienced artisans. No harmful chemicals are used in the production process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
