A practical lidded basket made of white bamboo, available in two different sizes – that's our Iraya. The modern light color is a particularly good match for interior design styles with lots of light wood and textile decorations such as wall hangings, cushions, and blankets.

The open weave allows for good air circulation, making it ideal as a laundry basket. You can also easily store other small items in the bathroom, bedroom, or other rooms of your home and cover them with the natural-colored seagrass lid.

Our baskets are made from plant fibers. They therefore smell and feel wonderfully natural.

Bamboo is an extremely fast-growing raw material that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing plant, thus avoiding unnecessarily long transport routes.

When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. The companies from which we source our goods employ only experienced, adult craftspeople. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
