Biku is a particularly decorative basket made from the robust material bamboo and is ideal as an eye-catching storage place for various things in your home or as a perfect plant basket to showcase your most beautiful houseplants.
The practical, long, braided seagrass handles make carrying easier and are also a striking visual feature. The design is rounded off by the white paint applied in a distressed look.

Bamboo is an extremely fast-growing raw material that can be used for a wide variety of purposes. The bamboo for our baskets is harvested in the immediate vicinity of the processing plant, thus avoiding unnecessarily long transport routes.

This basket was handmade in Java, Indonesia.
When selecting our local producers, we prioritize fair wages and good working conditions. The companies from which we source our goods employ only experienced, adult craftspeople. No harmful chemicals are used in the manufacturing process. Because all steps are done by hand, the production process generates minimal greenhouse gas emissions. We ensure all of this through regular on-site visits and ongoing personal contact with the companies.
